About Our Client
Our client is a local government organisation committed to safe, reliable and customer-focused service delivery. The water team plays a key role in maintaining vital infrastructure and supporting community needs.
What You'll Do
* Carry out maintenance, repairs and planned works on water infrastructure
* Promote strong safety standards and follow all procedures
* Supervise staff and contractors to meet quality and compliance requirements
* Manage permits, site access and operational documentation
* Respond to leaks, faults and urgent issues
* Maintain tools, equipment and authorised stock
* Assist with reporting, data collection and continuous improvement
What You'll Need
* Trade Certificate in Plumbing
* Current C Class Driver's Licence
* White Card, Confined Spaces ticket, Traffic Management Implementation qualification
* Strong safety focus and understanding of WHS obligations
* Experience in water reticulation or similar work
* Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
