This role combines strategic oversight with operational execution, ensuring high‑performing teams and outstanding client outcomes. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in field operations, coupled with a consulting mindset to assess, design, and implement improvements to organisational processes. A key focus will be on optimising workforce capability, embedding scalable service frameworks, and driving measurable uplift in staff performance. With strong commercial acumen, proven leadership, and the ability to influence at all levels, this role will be instrumental in shaping operational excellence, enhancing client satisfaction, and supporting the organisation’s long‑term growth strategy. This role is based in either our Brisbane or Sydney office. About the Role Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multi-site field operations, driving performance, and ensuring service excellence across all touchpoints. This is a pivotal role with scope to influence operational strategy, lead high-performing teams, and deliver measurable results. Key Responsibilities Lead geographically distributed teams across field and office environments. Partner with executive leadership to shape strategic direction and operational planning. Drive measurable improvements in systems, processes, and customer outcomes. Implement automation and field service technologies to enhance mobile delivery and coordination. Build and mentor high-performing teams with a culture of accountability and service excellence. Champion continuous improvement and embed best-practice frameworks across national operations. Track key metrics and reporting systems to ensure transparency and performance. Influence end-to-end service delivery and contribute directly to organisational growth. About You Over ten years of operational leadership experience across field service consultancy environments and other complex organisational settings, providing a deep understanding of service delivery across diverse structures and sectors (essential). Tertiary qualifications in Business Management or a related discipline (essential). A history of leading complex, multi-site or national operations with hands-on, performance-driven leadership. Strong capability in process improvement, automation, and data-led decision making. Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels. A passion for empowering teams, mentoring leaders, and fostering high-performing cultures. Sharp analytical, organisational, and time-management skills, paired with an ability to manage competing priorities. Extensive experience across diverse organisational environments, coupled with a strong enthusiasm for emerging technologies - including AI, automation, and digital platforms. Willingness to travel to different sites and states, as often as required.
