Full time (1.0 FTE).
While the role is advertised as ongoing, the College will consider a range of appointment options, including part‐time, fixed‐term, or shared allocations across Mathematics and Science, based on skills, experience, and timetabling.
Responsibilities
* Developing and delivering engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the curriculum
* Assessing and providing feedback to students to support their academic progress
* Maintaining accurate student records and data
* Contribute to curriculum development, bringing fresh ideas, contemporary teaching approaches, and a commitment to high-quality learning outcomes.
* Ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative, and engaging pedagogy.
* Actively participating in professional development to stay up-to-date with educational best practices
* Supporting the broader pastoral care and extracurricular activities of the college
About you
* Have a relevant teaching qualification with current registration in Tasmania.
* Possess strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum.
* Demonstrate excellent communication, relationship‐building, and classroom management skills.
* Have the ability to integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.
* Be committed to igniting a passion for learning while embodying the values, mission, and principles of Catholic Education.
