About the Role

The Group Manager - Residential Aged Care provides strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of residential aged care facilities. The role is accountable for service quality, operational performance, financial sustainability and the delivery of exceptional care and client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Leading the implementation of strategic and operational plans across the residential care portfolio
* Providing executive leadership to facility managers across service delivery, workforce performance, financial management, governance and risk
* Driving innovation, growth and service excellence to enhance client experience and organisational reputation
* Ensuring strong clinical and corporate governance, compliance and proactive risk management
* Monitoring performance outcomes and driving continuous improvement
* Contributing to capital works and organisational projects
* Managing budgets and ensuring services are delivered within agreed financial parameters
* Building capability and engagement across a high-performing leadership team
* Supporting organisational strategy execution through clear accountability, performance measurement and workforce readiness

What You Will Bring

* Senior leadership experience within residential aged care, with demonstrated success across complex portfolios
* Experience managing large, geographically dispersed service operations
* Deep understanding of the aged care sector, including reforms, funding models and emerging challenges
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to deliver sustainable financial and operational performance
* Proven capability in managing clinical, quality and business outcomes
* An engaging, resilient leadership style with strong change management capability

Credentials and Qualifications

* Registration with AHPRA
* Degree in Nursing, Health, Human Services or a related discipline
* Business management qualification or equivalent senior‐level experience
* National Police Check and Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
* Queensland Driver Licence
* Eligibility to meet Responsible Personnel requirements under the Aged Care Act (2024)
