About the Opportunity

There is an excellent permanent full‑time opportunity for a driven, motivated Conference and Events Coordinator to join the events team at the RACV Hobart.
The Role
- Professional communication with clients to obtain and understand their event requirements
- Comprehensive coordination of group bookings
- Creating Event Order documents to be distributed both internally and to clients
- Working with internal departments to ensure all client details are accounted for
- Obtaining payment, sending deposit reminders and managing your own event accounts
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume venue where you will manage up to 10 events per week
What we are looking for
- A passion for events and a desire to learn and improve on event management skills
- A proven track record of exceeding client expectations
- Technically savvy and efficient with administrative duties
- Self‑motivated and able to work both autonomously and in a team environment
- Experience in OPERA Sales & Catering is desirable
