The Role
We are seeking a Logistics Administrator to support the Logistics Manager in coordinating end-to-end logistics and transport operations across a range of international trade lanes. This role will be responsible for liaising with transport providers, suppliers, and internal teams, as well as managing data entry, documentation, and compliance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and update the shipment tracker with arrivals, delays, and any deviations.
* Proactively communicate with freight providers regarding contingencies and keep internal stakeholders informed – both within the Australian office and global offices.
* Assist with shipment bookings for internal stakeholders and prepare shipment documentation to ensure full export compliance.
* Handle internal customer inquiries with urgency, professionalism, and empathy.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with freight providers, adopting a collaborative, win‑win approach.
* Verify freight and duty invoice accuracy, and work with the Logistics Manager/Analyst to resolve invoice discrepancies through cost research, rate comparisons, and tariff checks.
* Maintain databases with accurate freight pricing, tariff classifications, and related logistics data.
* Collaborate with departments such as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to support smooth financial and operational processes.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with management to implement enhancements.
* Support the warehouse team with export shipping queries and general inventory management tasks.
* Assist with logistics process improvements, reporting, and administrative support as required.

Qualifications
* Formal tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
* 1 year of experience working with 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and vendors is desirable but not essential; graduates are also encouraged to apply.
* Agile and proactive thinker with the ability to anticipate challenges that may impact the supply chain.
* Strong attention to detail, with excellent prioritisation and multi‑tasking skills.
* Experience with commodity import/export customs processes is advantageous.
* Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
* Strong team player with the ability to work effectively across different cultures and time zones.
* Results‑oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
