At Happy Dots Therapy Services for Children, we are seeking a Senior Speech Pathologist with at least 7 years' post-graduate experience who is ready to practise at an advanced level while mentoring and elevating others.

About the Role

As a Senior Speech Pathologist, you will operate at an advanced practice level, managing a complex paediatric caseload (0–18 years) while dedicating structured time to supervision, mentoring, and internal training. You will work across clinic, school, and community settings, collaborating within a multidisciplinary team and contributing to clinical governance, innovation, and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Clinical Practice

* Deliver comprehensive assessments and evidence-based interventions for children with developmental delays, disabilities, and complex communication needs.
* Develop goal-driven, family-centred therapy plans aligned with functional and outcomes.
* Provide consultation and intervention within schools and community environments.
* Liaise closely with other allied health professionals, educators, and families to ensure integrated care.
* Facilitate group programs and contribute to service innovation.
* Maintain high standards of documentation, reporting, and NDIS compliance.
* Consistently achieve strong client satisfaction outcomes.

Leadership, Mentoring & Clinical Support

* Provide regular supervision and mentoring to speech pathologists.
* Support early-career clinicians in clinical reasoning, caseload management, and professional development.
* Deliver internal training and contribute to peer learning sessions.
* Assist in onboarding new clinicians.
* Provide feedback to leadership on service delivery and team development.
* Model best practice in professionalism, time management, and documentation standards.
* Contribute to service development initiatives and clinical pathway design.
* Participate in strategic planning and quality improvement activities.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

* Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
* Registration with Speech Pathology Australia
* Minimum 7 years' post-graduate experience
* Demonstrated experience managing complex paediatric caseloads
* Proven experience mentoring or supervising early-career speech pathologists
* Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills
* Understanding of NDIS frameworks
* Current Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening & Police Check

Highly Regarded:

* Experience providing formal clinical supervision
* Postgraduate training in paediatrics, disability, or related specialty areas
* Experience designing and facilitating group programs
* Experience contributing to service development or quality initiatives
