Service Planning and Delivery Officer

The Service Planning and Delivery Officer role sits within the Early Childhood Outcomes (ECO) division and is responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of new public early childhood education and care (ECEC) services across NSW. This position involves research, project management, stakeholder engagement, and the development of resources to support high‐quality public ECEC service delivery.

Responsibilities

* Conduct research and analysis to inform planning and decision‐making.
* Support project management activities, including preparing documentation and tracking risks and issues.
* Contribute to briefs, submissions, and professional learning resources to enhance public ECEC service delivery.
* Coordinate stakeholder and governance meetings to facilitate engagement and consultation.

Qualifications

* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent experience.
* Strong research, analysis, and planning skills needed to implement complex policy positions.
* Knowledge of and experience in the ECEC sector.
* Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
* Current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance for paid employment.
* Commitment to the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG.
