About You:
Are you a commercially minded finance professional with a passion for problem-solving and driving business performance? We are looking for a Finance Business Analyst to join our growing team and play a key role in connecting finance with operations, sales, and supply chain.
In this role, you’ll partner with Commercial Sales, Planning, Procurement, and Operations to deliver accurate reporting, support decision-making, and ensure financial processes are running at their best.
The Details:
* Partner with Commercial Sales on NPD costing and ensure the costing system remains accurate and up to date
* Deliver weekly production labour and variance reporting across multiple sites
* Manage inventory valuation and lead monthly slow-moving stock reporting
* Work with Planning & Procurement through the IBP process to drive better decisions
* Perform daily bank reconciliations and assist with an 8-week rolling cashflow model
* Own the IDL end-of-month financial model including AR/AP cashflow, expenses, purchasing, and inventory forecasts
* Assist the Finance Manager with month-end journals, accruals, and reconciliations
* Liaise with external accountants, advisors, and banking partners
* Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and oversee customer storage charges and invoicing
* Support preparation of capital requests and review outcomes for effectiveness
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CPA desirable)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Proven experience in financial reporting, costing, and cashflow management
* Advanced Excel skills and confidence working across multiple systems
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Important Info –
* The role will be predominantly based in Geelong, Victoria. Some travel to our other sites may be required from time to time.
