We are currently looking for our next Production Team Leader to join the team on a permanent full-time basis.
As a Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading, managing and supporting the day-to-day operations of the production team, ensuring that all tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will report directly to the Production Supervisor and work closely with other teams and departments.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Leading, supervising and supporting a team of 5-10 people in the production of powdered supplements.
* Managing team performance and ensuring that the production schedule is met on a daily basis.
* Operating labelling and sealing machinery.
* Monitoring and maintaining Work Health & Safety, GMP, food safety and quality standards.
* Identifying and troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions.
* Ensuring that all production-related documentation is completed accurately and on time.
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory or team leader role in a food manufacturing or supplement environment.
* Solid understanding of health and safety management practices.
* Familiarity with food safety and quality standards.
* Able to work on your feet, work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
