About the role
As a Training Coordinator, you will assume a critical member‐facing role in facilitating the effective delivery of the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) program within your designated local region. Your role is central to connecting stakeholders with the systems, people, and information they need. You'll act as the primary point of contact for registrars, supervisors, and practice teams, fostering strong relationships and providing expert guidance throughout every stage of the training journey. You will report to the Training Coordination Team Leader and work closely with GP Medical Educators, Program Support Officers, and regional and national teams to uphold compliance, quality, and excellence in service delivery.
Responsibilities
* Develop strong relationships with registrars, supervisors, practices, and internal teams.
* Coordinate registrar placements and training activities in line with program requirements and community needs.
* Monitor and support training progress, ensuring accurate data management and compliance with policies.
* Lead and deliver key regional activities, including accreditation site visits, presenting at educational events, and providing training advice.
* Contribute to a high‐performing team that promotes inclusivity, continuous improvement, and collaborative problem‐solving.
Skills & Experience
* Strong coordination and planning skills
* Proven experience in stakeholder management
* Clear, confident written and verbal communication
* Ability to build collaborative relationships across diverse teams
* Experience in health, education or training coordination settings
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant area is desirable

Location
Wollongong – two days onsite minimum with regular travel across surrounding areas within NSW.
Salary and Package
$104,700 + super, with the ability to salary package up to $15,900 tax‐free for living expenses under the RACGP's health promotion charity status.
