**Casual position**
The Geelong College is seeking to employ enthusiatic and reliable Pool Lifeguards who will be responsible for actively supervising the aquatic environment, ensuring public safety at all times in accordance with the Royal Life Saving Society Australia (RLSSA) standards and organisational policies and procedures.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Current LSV Pool Lifeguard Award
- General knowledge of OH&S, manual handling, hazardous substances, and dangerous goods including pool chemicals.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices
- Holder of current Working with Children Check (WWCC), or ability to obtain
- Availability to work rostered hours across mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Hold a current First Aid (HLTAID 011), CPR (HTLAID 009), Defibrillator, and asthma certification
- Previous experience in a lifeguard role (paid or voluntary), or in an aquatic and leisure environment (desirable)
- Pool Operators Certificate (desirable)
- Austswim Award (desirable)
- Evidence of Right to Work in Australia
- Willing support for the Christian ethos of the School
