At Kardan Construction, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager and Estimator to join our team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project delivery from tender through to completion, including cost estimation, bid proposals, and construction activities.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed estimates, bid proposals, and tender submissions.
* Collaborate with senior management, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to obtain accurate pricing and project information.
* Plan, organise, and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish.
* Coordinate labour resources, procurement, and delivery of materials, plant, and equipment.
* Provide ongoing cost monitoring and variance analysis during construction.
* Ensure all works are compliant with Australian Standards and Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
* Identify potential cost savings and value engineering opportunities.
* Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
* Attend meetings with management, supervisors, and clients.
Requirements include minimum 2 years' experience as a Construction Estimator and/or Project Manager, experience leading estimates on projects up to $10M, and a tertiary qualification in Construction Management or related field.
Additional requirements include strong technical knowledge of construction industry methods, materials, and standards, familiarity with estimating software, and excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
