What the role involves:
* Providing field-based assessment and investigation of commercial insurance losses
* Liaising with policyholders regarding their claims.
Examining claims forms, policies, and endorsements, client instructions, and other records to determine coverage.
* Investigating claims by interviewing claimants and witnesses, obtaining official reports, inspecting physical damage, and comparing claim information with evidence.
* Set loss reserves and control claims costs
What experience you will bring:
* Strong technical skills to assess the cause and repair of damage
* Previous experience in a loss adjusting role, around 4/5 years +
* Ability to produce reports for the insurer to evaluate losses
* Experience in building strong relationships with all stakeholders
* A solid understanding of adjusting/property claims
* Ability to demonstrate strong client relationships with your network to build business and be the trusted loss adjusting adviser
