What’s the role?
Our Personal Banking Specialist positions at Westpac are senior roles within our branch network, where you will proactively engage with customers both in-person and over the phone to understand their financial needs. Using your expertise in Westpac’s banking products, you will assist customers in reaching their financial goals by recommending suitable products and referring them to specialist teams like Home Loans and Business Banking when necessary. This role combines sales and customer service, with accountability for sales and referral targets, all while empowering our customers to make the most of their money.
This is a full-time, branch-based position, with hours from Monday to Friday.
What do I need?
* Extensive experience in a customer-facing or phone-based sales role
* Proven track record of exceeding KPIs with a strong commitment to exceptional customer service
* Resilience, tenacity, and adaptability — no two days or customers are the same!
* Banking experience is preferred but not essential; your high-energy approach and ability to build strong customer relationships are key to success
* Comfort with numbers and proficiency in navigating multiple systems
No banking experience? No problem.
