The Operations manager is responsible for leading and managing all operational activities within NSW and Queensland.
This role ensures operational performance, safety, quality, and service delivery align with the organisations strategic objectives and values.
The role will provide leadership to site teams, ensure compliance with regulatory and environmental standards, and drive continuous improvement across processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage site operations across the states, ensuring performance targets are met.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Manage state-based operational budgets and ensure cost-effective practices.
- Collaborate with national leadership to align state activities with broader business strategy.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of site teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in manufacturing.
- Demonstrated leadership and team development capabilities.
- Robust financial and commercial acumen.
- Understanding of WHS, EPA, and industry compliance standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field (preferred).
