Are you an experienced midwife who wants to be part of a team that supports and improves the health of its people and community? We are seeking applications for a highly capable and values-driven Clinical Midwife to join the Parent Education team at King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH). The role includes educating women and their support person in antenatal clinics and delivering education classes.
This is a Fixed Term Part Time appointment for 16 hours per fortnight until 20/01/2026, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

This position, as part of a multidisciplinary team, provides clinical leadership and advanced professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence-based midwifery care is delivered to patients; facilitates and promotes patient safety and quality of care.

Area Profile
In Western Australia, KEMH joined with other women's health services to form the Women and Newborn Health Service (WNHS), part of North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS). KEMH is the state/'s only tertiary maternity and gynaecological hospital and WA's major referral centre for high-risk pregnancies. The hospital delivers thousands of births annually and includes a Special Care Nursery.
WNHS also operates a maternity and gynaecology unit at Osborne Park Hospital (OPH) and manages several statewide services such as BreastScreen WA and other programs for women and babies.
