About the role
The Area Manager role with Tokyo Headspa offers an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing, dynamic retail brand.
Based in Brisbane, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of two Tokyo Headspa locations in the area.
With a strong focus on driving sales, enhancing the customer experience, and developing high-performing teams, this role is crucial to the ongoing success of the business.
What you'll be doing
Manage the day-to-day operations of two Tokyo Headspa locations, ensuring consistently high standards of customer service and spa presentation.
Analyse spa performance data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and implement strategies to drive sales and profitability.
Together with management, recruit, train, and develop Salon Managers and the Head Spa Therapist team providing coaching and support to enable them to reach their full potential.
Manage the creation and adjustment of team rosters to ensure that sales targets and contractual obligations are met.
Foster a positive, collaborative work culture and ensure spa teams are engaged, motivated, and working effectively.
Liaise with the head office team to ensure effective communication and alignment with brand strategy.
Identify and address operational challenges, implementing solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
What we're looking for
Proven experience in a retail management or area management role, ideally within the health, beauty or personal care sectors.
Strong commercial acumen and a track record of driving sales and profitability in a multi-site retail environment.
Excellent leadership, people management, and team development skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff in a genuine manner.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
