Description:
The role:
* Uniform Shop Assistant.
* 1-year contract commencing ASAP.
* Part-Time c.0.6 FTE.
* Mon, Wed, Fri (7.30am-3.45pm).
* Works term-time only plus 1 week before Term 1 (39 weeks per year, total).
* Salary is averaged and paid across 52 weeks.
* Reports to the Business Manager.
Key duties:
* Assist customers (students and families) with uniform selection and fitting.
* Process sales transactions using POS system.
* Maintain stock and manage appearance of shop/displays.
* Receive and unpack deliveries.
* Handle customer enquires in a professional and friendly manner.
* Support stock take and inventory management.
Skills and Experiences:
The ideal candidate:
* Some demonstrated experience in a retail customer service role preferred (but not essential if you are naturally a confident, capable, and organised person who loves people)
* Basic / everyday computer skills.
* Outgoing, bubbly personality with a warm and welcoming disposition.
* Strong verbal communication skills and ability to connect with all ages.
* Able to work independently with limited direction.
* A communicative and relational team player who makes a positive contribution to the life and culture of Kambala.
