Waste Water Services specialises in the design, construction and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment infrastructure, including sewage treatment plants, potable water treatment systems, pump stations and process water infrastructure used in mining operations.
Our projects support major clients including BHP, Rio Tinto and Fortescue, as well as Water Corporation, local governments and utilities across Western Australia and the East Coast.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, we are seeking a Project Coordinator to support our project delivery team in Perth.
The Role
The Project Coordinator will support the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects by assisting project managers and engineers with project planning, procurement coordination, documentation control and site mobilisation.
This role works across the full lifecycle of projects, from engineering and procurement through to construction and commissioning.
Projects typically involve process infrastructure rather than building construction, including treatment plants, pump stations, filtration systems, reverse osmosis plants and associated electrical and mechanical equipment.
The role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders including engineers, suppliers, subcontractors and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting project managers and engineers in the coordination of project activities
• Tracking procurement of equipment
• Coordinating supplier documentation including drawings, manuals and compliance documentation
• Maintaining project documentation including registers, schedules and deliverables
• Supporting preparation of project reports, progress updates and client documentation
• Coordinating mobilisation requirements for site works including inductions and training records
• Assisting with project scheduling and tracking of milestones
• Supporting commissioning preparation including documentation and testing records
• Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and internal engineering teams
Experience & Skills
• Degree, diploma in engineering, project management, construction management or trade in a related discipline
• Experience supporting infrastructure, industrial or engineering projects
• Strong organisational and documentation management skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and project tasks simultaneously
• Experience working with technical documentation and project schedules
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project tracking tools
Experience with the following is advantageous:
• Mining or utilities infrastructure projects
• Water or wastewater treatment plants
• Equipment procurement and supplier coordination
• Project documentation systems or ERP platforms
• Working with engineering teams across mechanical, electrical and civil disciplines
