Occupational Health Nurse
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering onsite health centre services to ensure delivery of quality occupational health, medical and emergency care to all employees and business partners on site.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Implementation of early intervention programs to support injured employees in their recovery.
* Monitoring the health status of employees through pre-employment medical screening and regular health monitoring.
* Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and adhering to health centre protocols.
* Providing initial assessment of injuries and illnesses reported by employees.
* Recording injuries and incidents in the electronic injury management database.
* Coordinating medical appointments for injured workers and accompanying them when required.
Requirements
* An Australian citizen eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
* Relevant occupational health nursing experience and/or emergency nursing experience.
* Registered general nurse with current registration with AHPRA.
* At least 5 years post-registration experience.
* Able to work autonomously.
* Current CPR certificate.
* Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
* Advanced life support qualification (desirable).
* Accredited drug and alcohol testing certification (desirable).
* Audiometric testing certification (desirable).
