We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Housekeeper to support the day‑to‑day running of a well‑maintained private residence, with additional cleaning duties for a small nearby business/office. This role is ideal for a parent returning to work or someone seeking flexible, school‑hours‑friendly employment.
The position is two days per week (approximately 8-10 hours total), with hours able to be scheduled during school hours. There are no children in the home. Pets are present.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
General housekeeping of a large six‑bedroom private home, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing. Thorough cleaning of bathrooms and kitchens. Making beds and changing linen. Deep cleaning on a scheduled basis, including cupboards, appliances, and skirting boards.
Laundry duties including washing, line‑drying, drying, ironing, and folding clothes, linen, and towels, with care taken for all garments and household fabrics.
Organising cupboards, wardrobes, and storage areas, and maintaining an orderly, well‑presented household.
Stocking and monitoring household supplies, including cleaning products and toiletries, and notifying when items need replenishing.
Light meal preparation as required, including basic food organisation and clean‑up.
Additionally, cleaning of a small nearby business/office, including general cleaning, maintaining bathrooms and kitchen areas, and ensuring a tidy and professional workspace.
Occasional tasks include basic pet care such as feeding and cleaning pet areas, watering indoor and outdoor plants, and light garden care.
About You:
Previous experience in private housekeeping, office cleaning, or a similar role is preferred. You will have strong attention to detail, be trustworthy and discreet, able to work independently, and manage your time efficiently. Reliability, punctuality, and pride in your work are essential.

A stable, long‑term part‑time role based on the Gold Coast. Approximately 8-10 hours per week across two days, with flexibility to suit school hours. Pay rate is $28–$35 per hour, ( includes travel allowance) depending on experience.
