Main Responsibilities
* Provide leadership to your team, setting clear expectations, upholding accountabilities, reviewing performance, and providing constructive feedback.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities for reporting and analysis purposes.
* Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to procure necessary parts and equipment for repairs.
* Identify and implement continual improvement strategies in safety and technical matters.
Requirements
* A mechanical or electrical trade certificate and/or tertiary qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering is required.
* Prior supervisory experience in heavy machinery maintenance within an open cut mining environment is essential.
* Familiarity with heavy plant maintenance, including draglines, excavators, haul trucks, ancillary equipment, and drills.
* Knowledge of relevant mining legislation.
* Able to make data-driven risk-based decisions.
* Strong frontline leadership skills with effective written and verbal communication.
