Leads and coordinates the development, implementation, evaluation and review of partnerships and service planning initiatives involving the department and key stakeholders, including government and non-government agencies, in line with the Youth Justice Strategy.
As Principal Community Services Officer, You Will Specifically
* Support the establishment and operation of high level, strategic multi-agency initiatives including Multi-agency Collaborative Panels.
* Develop and lead a strong, integrated multi-agency service system in collaboration with non-government funded and unfunded provider/s, and relevant government agencies at a local level, and conduct planning activities, including service mapping and outcome monitoring and evaluation, to identify potential challenges and enhance service delivery.
* Represent youth justice at regional consultation forums, committees or working groups as required.
* Promote learning and information sharing in relation to services, networks and referral pathways within the community, through site mentoring, delivery of learning and development opportunities, and via the preparation of a range of high quality communication materials.
* Provide leadership in the implementation of strategies that facilitate and sustain the formation of partnerships between the department and key stakeholders within the region and at a local level.
* Enhance the local regional community by actively practicing and promoting excellence in service delivery and public administration and identifying opportunities for improving regional client service.
* Establish and maintain effective communication with key stakeholders.
* Facilitate the effective engagement in the partnership of people, communities and organisations from Indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
