Job Title: Supermarket Store Manager
We are seeking a passionate and skilled professional to manage the successful operation of a supermarket in a remote First Nations community. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and promoting sales growth.
About the Role:
* Manage the overall performance of the supermarket, including stock control, point of sale, and staff management
* Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales revenue
* Collaborate with merchandising, nutrition, and local stakeholders to meet community needs and preferences
Key qualifications and skills include:
* A minimum of three years' retail management experience, preferably in a similar environment
* Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting, fostering open communication and collaboration
* Experience using electronic retail systems, including stock control, point of sale, and staff management software
* Certificate III in Retail or equivalent qualification
* Able to manage unique challenges of remote communities, including limited resources and cultural considerations
