What will you do?
- Providing general administrative assistance to Category Manager and Group Buyer as needed.
- Complete weekly costing sheets in conjunction with Category Manager/Group Buyer for approval.
- Create new orders, monitor outstanding orders and follow-up where necessary.
- Ensure advertised stock is ordered, prioritized and allocated to stores at the appropriate time.
- Assist Category Manager/Group Buyer present promotional products in line with brief provided by the Group Chief Executive Officer.
- Ensure promotional offers and pricing are in line with the Company's ACL compliance policies.
- Action on price change in Pathway System in line with pricing guidelines and margin expectations.
- Assist in conducting comparative price or product checks in the local market.
- Action on inactive, aged and obsolete stock under the direction of Category manager or Group Buyer.
- Update store legends in Pathway system on a regular basis, based on desired range level determined in consultation with Category Manager or Group Buyer.
- Maintain the buying office samples, ensuring they are maintained in a saleable condition and that an accurate record is kept.
- Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including suppliers.
- Complete other administration duties as required, including creation and maintenance of spreadsheets for marketing purposes, responding and following up on queries, requests and repairs from stores.
- Daily replenishment of stock to stores including general picking.
What skills and experience do you need?
- At least 12 months' experience in an administrative support role.
- Intermediate computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (including Excel) and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superior organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Have positive attitude, be self-motivated, and with the proven ability to work autonomously.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to self-manage and meet deadlines.
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to multitask and be hands-on.
- Have general knowledge of the retail industry.
