The Maintenance Person is responsible for the maintenance of our club facilities and investment properties. This includes repair and regular inspection of facilities and equipment, preventative maintenance tasks, engagement and coordination of contractors, and other duties as required.
The role is a full time position on a Monday-Friday roster, with some very occasional out of hours work at times.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate
Highly developed maintenance and repair skills
Moderate skills/knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting (Trade qualifications not essential but highly advantageous)
Excellent communication skills
The ability to prioritize tasks according to WHS practices and the needs of the club
Excellent time management and coordination
Ability to work independently and show initiative
Basic computer literacy
Current NSW driver's license and a safe driving record
Previous experience as a maintenance/handyperson in hotels, apartments, hospitals etc. would be highly regarded
