CHEF DE PARTIE - SOUTHERN OCEAN LODGE - KANGAROO ISLAND.
Dining at Southern Ocean Lodge is a dynamic delight for the senses and a true gastronomic journey of Kangaroo Island and South Australia.
Our 'produce to plate' approach is our passion.
We develop a daily menu that honors fine local ingredients with a cuisine style that is both sophisticated and simple, promoting the intense purity of flavours to create a very special dining experience, unique to the Island and Southern Ocean Lodge.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join our Southern Ocean Lodge family on Kangaroo Island.
You will be a pivotal member of the kitchen team and be responsible for delivering a world-class culinary experience for our discerning, well-traveled guests by utilising the incredibly abundant local produce from Kangaroo Island and South Australia.
This is a full-time role inclusive of accommodation, meals and utilities provided in our onsite staff village.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, innovative cuisine that showcases local produce.
Plan and prioritise kitchen tasks to meet the set schedule.
Maintain meticulous attention to detail, style and hygiene.
Coordinate kitchen operations in a remote lodge or resort environment (advantageous).
Qualifications
Appropriate trade qualifications.
Proven experience in delivering high-quality dining.
Ability to prioritise tasks and work to a schedule.
Strong attention to detail and style.
Passion for innovative food.
Knowledge of Australian cuisine and industry standards.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Previous experience in a remote lodge or resort is advantageous.
Benefits
Salary $75,000 - $80,000.
