Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a Visiting Medical Officer in Neurology to join our team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital!
We are looking for a Visiting Medical Officer in Neurology. The primary purpose of the role of Visiting Medical Officer in Neurology is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Neurology and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Neurology Department and Hospital as required.
The Visiting Medical Officer in Neurology will have expert knowledge and experience in the treatments and diagnosis of hearing and balance disorders including Omniax, Vestibular Testing (vHITs) and other specialised testing.
The Visiting Medical Officer will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.
Medical practitioner, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Applicants must have Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) with recognised qualifications in Neurology and/or other equivalent specialist recognition.
Position is currently available. In addition, applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within two months from the beginning of the 2026 Clinical Year on 2 February 2026, may be considered.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Public Hospitals Visiting Medical Officer Determination.
