Recruitment Manager at KLC Recruitment Pty Ltd

* Seymour VIC | Full Time Ongoing
* Family Violence Practitioners
* SCHADS Level 5 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging and Annual Leave Loading

We currently have multiple vacancies with a large NFP client based in Seymour VIC, who provide services in the Family Violence space. There are positions available for both Master of Social Work Graduates and experienced Practitioners. You will be working with a close-knit, passionate team who are responsible for providing face-to-face support, facilitating referrals, advocating for clients, and assisting with safety planning.

Skills & Abilities :

* Providing case management for clients during their stay at the refuge, which typically lasts up to 8 weeks. Assist with safety planning, advocacy, and support in navigating the housing exit process.
* Managing referrals from Safe Steps (24/7 referral service) and other direct referrals. Advocate for clients within the broader family violence sector and connect them with appropriate external agencies.
* Working closely with clients on life planning, including getting children into education, connecting with healthcare providers, and other essential services.
* Overseeing the management of 4 properties, ensuring they are safe and supportive environments for clients.
* Working alongside a team of dedicated practitioners, contributing to a strong and supportive team dynamic.

Duties & Responsibilities :

* A degree in Social Work or an equivalent qualification is required. (Minimum standard: Recommendation 209).
* MARAM Training
* Previous experience within Family Violence.
* Critical thinking and the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practice.
* Experience in a refuge or similar setting is preferred.
* Ability to adapt and be moulded into the role.
