Details: CIT is seeking a skilled and dynamic individual to fill the role of Senior Manager, Marketing, providing strategic leadership and operational management of the Marketing and Web Services functions.
Reporting to the Student Experience Lead and Academic Registrar, this role is responsible for leading the development and implementation of CIT's Marketing and Student Recruitment Strategy to promote vocational education and training across the ACT and surrounding regions.
Supervising a multidisciplinary team, you will plan, deliver and evaluate institute‐wide domestic and international marketing and student recruitment activities, including major campaigns, brand positioning initiatives and flagship events such as CIT Open Day, Twilight Enrolment Sessions and Canberra CareersXPO.
You will oversee the day‐to‐day operations of the marketing function, including campaign and creative development, brand and visual identity management, social and digital content, web governance, graphic design services and future student experience initiatives.
Working collaboratively with senior leaders, stakeholders and suppliers across CIT, you will lead priority marketing projects that increase brand awareness and drive course enrolments, while ensuring high‐quality, consistent and effective promotion of CIT's offerings.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Degree in marketing or a related discipline and relevant equivalent experience is highly desirable.
Notes: This is a temporary position available from 15 June 2026 until 20 April 2027 with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
