With our team, you will be responsible for maintaining safe and well-maintained roadsides through roadside vegetation management. This involves operating spray equipment and applying chemicals.
As a key member of our road maintenance team, you will also perform general maintenance duties associated with roads and roadsides. These include concreting and finishing, pipe laying, and sign installation.
We are looking for someone who is capable of operating various items of minor plant and equipment, as well as participating in a range of physical laboring duties.
To succeed in this role, you must have a demonstrated understanding of and/or experience in general maintenance duties associated with roads and roadsides. You should also possess strong communication skills, both oral and written.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to operate various items of minor plant and equipment and participate in physical laboring duties. Additionally, a Chemical Spray Ticket (current) or extensive experience in spraying chemicals and willingness to obtain a ticket and apply chemicals would be highly beneficial.
A Class C driver licence with the ability to operate manual transmission is also required. Furthermore, a Work Safely in the Construction Industry Induction ticket (white card) would be an advantage.
