Bidfood Armidale is looking for reliable and energetic individuals to join our team as both fulltime and casual Storepersons.

This role also suits someone who works well in a fast-paced environment, stays focused under pressure and is comfortable operating in freezer, chiller and dry store areas. It’s physical, it’s practical and it’s essential to the success of hospitality businesses. 
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being out on the road, values routine with a bit of variety – and takes pride in great customer service. With well-maintained vehicles, a supportive team and a laid-back yet professional environment, you’ll be part of a foodservice network that helps keep cafés, kitchens and venues stocked and running smoothly. 
You’ll build strong relationships with customers and become a trusted part of their day – delivering not just products, but reliability and great service. 
About the role 
On a typical day, you’ll be picking and assembling customer orders, loading trucks, managing inbound stock and, delivering orders safely and efficiently while representing Bidfood out in the field. The role will also require you to: 
Pick and assemble goods accurately 
Load trucks efficiently and safely 
Unloading stock and placing items in customer locations 
Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and condition 
Upholding food safety and hygiene practices 
Receive, put away and rotate stock 
Maintain tidy and accurate bin locations 
Work overtime when required to meet demand 
About you 
We’re looking for someone who enjoys the physical side of work, can be relied on to show up and work hard and takes pride in doing a job properly. You’re the kind of person who gets along with just about anyone, shows up on time and genuinely enjoys a job well done. You’re confident and courteous behind the wheel and take customer service seriously – even when it’s just a quick drop-off. 
Someone who enjoys a yarn with the customers is always a great fit. 
Skills and experience 
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring a solid work ethic, physical readiness and a willingness to work across different environments as part of a reliable team. 
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling 
Previous warehouse or Storeperson experience (a plus) 
Good communication and time management skills 
Forklift licence with reach experience highly regarded 
Comfortable working across freezer, chiller and dry areas 
MR licence 
Able to pass a pre-employment medical (if required)
