About the Role
The Health Technology Management Unit (HTMU) is seeking a Senior Procurement and Contract Manager. This role is responsible for the procurement of medical equipment and development and management of contracts, relating to the Medical Equipment Replacement Program (MERP).
This position will oversee procurement and management of complex contracts for HTMU across East and South Metropolitan Health Services, ensuring effective implementation and evaluation of outcomes through performance monitoring and quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Procure medical equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures.
* Develop and manage contracts related to MERP.
* Oversight of the Procurement and Contract Management team.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
* Substantial experience in providing best-practice in procurement and contract management in the health services area.
* Strong leadership, management, communication and negotiation skills.
* Split reporting responsibilities to the Director Procurement and Contracting and the Manager of General Information and Technology Service.

This position is based at Royal Perth Hospital, a tertiary adult hospital and part of the Royal Perth Bentley Group.
