Job Title: Financial Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

* Conduct month-end activities, including reconciliations, journal postings, and adjustments to ensure financial accuracy.
* Support strategic decision-making by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing valuable insights.
* Maintain the general ledger with precise classification and accurate coding of P&L and Balance Sheet items.
* Collaborate with department heads to gather financial data, track budget variances, and assist in timely reporting.
* Assist in preparing various tax returns (BAS, FBT, Corporate tax), collaborating with the team and tax advisors for accurate and timely filing.
* Manage foreign currency translations, including conversions and adjustments for revaluations.
* Aid in preparing comprehensive cash flow statements, support treasury functions, and collaborate on financial reporting.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
* Assist with annual budgeting, internal and external audits, and other reporting as required.

You will need the following experience and qualifications:

* Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
* CA/CPA or equivalent professional certification.
* Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
* Experience using Oracle or another large ERP system is essential.
* Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (high level proficiency).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
