About Us The Operating theatre team is seeking applicants from clerical staff to perform duties relating to booking patients within the theatre, by providing an efficient, compassionate, respectful and reliable administrative service. Exciting full time opportunity available. Working Monday-Friday as the afternoon theatre administrative assistant. Be part of a large team to support and coordinate all administrative functions related to patient care within the perioperative environment Be a valuable member of the team and gain job satisfaction in helping others and contributing to a patients journey Use your database skills and excellent communication within a large and dynamic team Challenge your need to be busy and apply high standards About the Role and You The position of theatre administrative assistant is responsible for managing all administrative duties within the operating theatres. This includes data entry and bookings for emergency procedures. The role includes telephone enquiries, processing of requests for emergency procedures, patient data entry both within the EMR and iPM and outlook, scanned medical records (SMR) and any other administrative duties the nurse in charge delegates. We are seeking a friendly, compassionate person who enjoys working in a busy and dynamic team. Previous history in health care setting and skilled in EMR/iPM/outlook desirable.
