Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Electrician to join our team. As an Automotive Electrician, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems within vehicles.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic equipment/software.
* Repair or replace faulty wiring harnesses, connectors, switches, relays, etc.
* Install new electrical components such as audio systems, lighting accessories or security systems.
* Conduct regular maintenance checks on vehicle electronics.
* Test repaired/replaced components to ensure proper functioning.
* Provide accurate time estimates for completion of tasks.
* Keep up to date with advancements in automotive technology/electrical systems.
Requirements:
* Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician or equivalent experience is essential.
* Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Auto Electrician in the automotive industry.
* Valid driver's license is required.
* Knowledge of relevant electrical regulations and safety standards.
* Additional certifications or training in automotive electronics will be advantageous.
