Experienced Handyman / Maintenance All‐Rounder – Darwin (Work Vehicle Provided) - Casual
Role Overview
The Handyman independently delivers a range of property (residential and commercial) maintenance services to a professional standard across residential and commercial sites.
This role requires the ability to work independently and complete jobs start to finish.
Core Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repairs (Independent Work)
* Install and adjust doors (measure, trim, fit)
* Install and repair door hardware (handles, locks, hinges, closers)
* Replace rollers (screen doors, sliding doors, robe doors)
* Install fixtures (curtain rods, shelves, lockboxes, TV brackets, bathroom fittings)
* Carry out minor tiling repairs (tiles, grout, silicone)
* Pressure cleaning, general maintenance and disposal tasks
* Identify and resolve common maintenance issues
Preparation & Painting
* Patch and repair surfaces (filling, sanding, prep)
* Paint doors, walls, ceilings, skirting and cornice
* Deliver clean, professional finishes
Job & Site Management
* Attend and complete jobs independently, as scheduled
* Communicate professionally with clients
* Maintain clean and safe worksites
* Identify and report work (no scope changes without approval)
Systems & Equipment
* Record photos, notes and job details in ServiceM8
* Maintain vehicle, tools and equipment

* Works independently on standard jobs
* Works as part of a team on larger jobs
* Manages time and workload effectively
* Produces consistent, quality workmanship
* Maintains safe work practices
