Due to continued growth, our Resources & Industry (R&I) team are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team, based in Brisbane. The position will suit a candidate with exposure to mining / heavy industrial projects and is looking for a new opportunity. How you’ll make a difference. Work with Tier 1 clients across mining, industrial and heavy industry projects, delivering high-quality electrical engineering solutions from concept design through to construction and commissioning. Lead and contribute to the preparation of technical reports, project documentation and electrical design packages, supporting project delivery across multiple phases. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams (mechanical, civil, structural and process) to coordinate electrical design and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers within the team, supporting capability development and ensuring consistent engineering standards. Build and maintain strong client relationships, supporting business development initiatives and contributing to successful project outcomes. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with RPEQ (or working towards) or equivalent professional accreditation. Ideally 12+ years’ experience in electrical engineering within a consultancy or client organisation, with strong exposure to mining, resources or heavy industrial projects. Demonstrated experience across electrical design, construction and commissioning, including LV/HV power distribution, motor control systems, and industrial control systems (PLCs and SCADA). Working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, regulations and industry practices within mining and heavy industry environments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal teams, clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Additional Information
