Your Duties
Overview
The Hotel Manager assumes responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the hotel in the absence of the General Manager. This role requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills to ensure the smooth functioning of all departments and the delivery of exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
1. Operational Management: Oversee daily operations of all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and administration. Monitor and maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety. Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
2. Guest Experience: Ensure the highest guest satisfaction by addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly. Foster a positive, welcoming atmosphere and promote a customer-centric culture. Review guest feedback regularly and implement improvements.
3. Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise staff, providing coaching and development. Schedule staff efficiently, fostering a collaborative work environment.
4. Financial Management: Assist in developing and monitoring the hotel budget, including revenue forecasting, expense control, and profit maximization. Implement cost-saving measures and review financial reports to assess performance.
5. Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop strategies for revenue and occupancy growth. Monitor market trends and support promotional initiatives.
6. Maintenance and Safety: Ensure proper maintenance of facilities, implement safety protocols, and conduct inspections to address issues promptly.
