A well-established CA practice that provides accounting, taxation, and business advice to small and medium businesses and individual client are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist / Admin Assistant to manage the front desk and support the Office Manager in day-to-day operations.

While this is a reception-focused role, there is scope to take on additional administrative responsibilities and contribute across the firm.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing the front reception desk: answering and directing calls, greeting clients and visitors
* Processing incoming and outgoing mail, both physical and electronic
* Maintaining reception, meeting rooms, and kitchen areas
* Supporting filing systems, including scanning, electronic filing, and archiving
* Assisting offshore administration staff and providing guidance when needed
* Liaising with the ATO and ASIC regarding correspondence, notices, and registrations
* Attending to electronic signing processes for accounting and taxation compliance tasks
* Providing general administrative and clerical support as required

What the firm is looking for:

* Previous reception experience in an accounting firm
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong IT skills and ability to adapt to new systems (the office is largely paperless)
* Experience in additional accounting firm tasks is highly desirable, including:
* ASIC administration
* Tax lodgements
* Electronic copy and binding of tax documents (Financial Accounts, ITRs, BAS/IAS, etc.)
* ATO communications
* MYOB Accountants Office use
* Positive attitude and a desire to contribute to a supportive and inclusive office culture
* Proactive, energetic, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
