About the companyOur client is an industrial manufacturer seeking a Cost Accountant who can start immediately with a potential for extension and permanent.About the roleThe Cost Accountant role would start off as a 3-month contract with potential for extension or permanent, based full time at their head office in Bayswater.
The role reports into The CFO and is responsible for:Maintaining accurate product costsAssisting in the preparation of annual product budgetsProviding pricing and costing analysis to support business opportunities and decisionsEnsuring the master database is kept up to date and accurateProviding accurate reports and reconciliations for a number of different areas of the businessCalculating customer rebates and accruals and price amendmentsMaintaining process and procedure documentation relating to the roleAbout youTertiary Qualification in Accounting or similarCertified Practising Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalentExperience in costing products in a manufacturing environmentGood attention to detailHigh critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsGood computer literacy skills and comfort with various types of technologyAbility to work well as a team and interact with different groups of peopleHow to applyClick the Apply Now button and we will be in touch.
