As Director of Quality you will be a key member of the site leadership team at FIJI Water's production facility in Yagara, Viti Levu, Fiji. You will be tasked with driving quality performance improvement, proactively championing initiatives leading to greater customer satisfaction, developing a high performing team and managing succession planning, and supporting strategic development and execution of the Operational Plan through effective quality management systems.
Key accountabilities
* Leading 2 direct reports (Laboratory Manager and Quality Systems Manager) and approx. 30 indirect reports. Develop a high performing quality team and work culture, building individual and organisational capabilities
* Driving regulatory compliance, food safety and Lean Six Sigma
* Leading performance improvement efforts specific to quality programs across the site
* Active participation on the Leadership Team, challenging strategic decisions based on operational efficiencies and quality outcomes.
* Being the Subject Matter Expert on Quality requirements for new project installations
* Modelling FIJI Water's core values: Continuous Learning, Insight to Action, Passionate Advocate for Our Brand, Respect for Each Other, and Departmental Collaboration.

You will have a proven track record of leadership and building teams resulting in quality effectiveness. You have proven your effectiveness working in a high energy, multi-cultural environment, and value teamwork, continuous improvement, collaboration and integrity. We seek a can-do individual who can offer solutions to issues, and the personality to inspire change.
Qualifications
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Microbiology, Food Science, Chemistry, Environmental Health of a related discipline.
* 7 – 10 years management-level experience in quality management.
* Extensive background in food safety.
* Experience in beverage manufacturing, high speed PET packaging and injection moulding will be of considerable advantage.
* Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence all levels of employees and external partners.
* Lean Six Sigma Certification (Black Belt of Master Black Belt preferred).
* A positive, willing attitude, personal resilience, resourcefulness and the ability to adapt to a new and culturally diverse environment.
