About this role:
* This position involves providing specialist care to paediatric patients across various programs, including acute inpatients and community health outpatient services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality care to patients with communication and swallowing difficulties.
* Supervise and support junior Speech Pathologists to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care.
* Promote a positive culture within the team by leading by example and fostering a collaborative environment.
Essential Requirements:
* Practicing membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
* Current driver's license.
* A minimum of seven years' experience working with children and their families in acute and community care settings.
* Advanced knowledge of assessment, treatment, and management options for children with communication and swallowing difficulties.
* Proven ability to identify, implement, and review quality improvement activities.
* Strong skills in clinical supervision and education.
