About the role
As the End User Compute (EUC) Platform Lead, you'll be a senior member of the ICT End User Compute Team and act as the 2IC to the Manager, End User Computing. You'll lead a team of EUC engineers, guide technical decision-making, and own the roadmap for endpoint and collaboration platforms. This role is pivotal in ensuring our services, technologies, and platforms meet the evolving needs of Lifeblood staff and stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
* Provide day-to-day leadership, mentoring and technical direction to EUC engineers.
* Support the Manager, End User Computing, and act as delegate when required.
* Own product and platform decisions across the EUC domain, ensuring strong alignment with organisational needs.
* Manage and prioritise the EUC backlog and roadmap, collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure value delivery.
* Lead platform-related initiatives across endpoint, collaboration, and cloud environments.
* Champion continuous improvement, automation, and modernisation of EUC services.
* Ensure robust governance, identity, access, cybersecurity and compliance within the EUC portfolio.
* Oversee operational excellence across Windows, cloud, collaboration, and automation services.

You're an experienced technical leader who can guide engineers, influence stakeholders, and confidently own modern EUC and collaboration platforms. You bring a mix of strategic thinking, hands‑on capability, and a strong continuous improvement mindset.
You will bring:
* Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to coach engineers and a desire to progress toward future management opportunities.
* Strong expertise in End User Compute technologies, including Microsoft Endpoint Manager/SCCM, Intune, SOE design/maintenance, and application packaging and patching.
* Solid experience across Enterprise Collaboration services such as Microsoft 365 tenant administration, OneDrive, Conditional Access, Teams Phones and Teams Rooms, and Windows/cloud print services.
* Cloud and identity proficiency, including Azure Virtual Desktop, authentication, access governance, and identity controls.
* Well‑rounded system engineering capability spanning Active Directory, Windows Server, enterprise networking principles, cybersecurity frameworks, automation/scripting, integration, and service/enterprise reporting.
* Experience in Agile and ITIL environments, supported by strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
This is a permanent opportunity with a hybrid work model rotating between WFH and one of our processing centres. We are open to candidates from different locations within Australia, as well as part‑time (0.8 FTE) and full‑time candidates.
