About The Role
The General Manager (GM) will play a leading role by driving the development, implementation and achievement of the organisation’s strategic plan and leading all commercial and operational aspects of Sales, Design, Project Management, Installation, Technical Deployment, Managed Service, and Warehouse/Logistics. The GM will be accountable for ensuring strategic goals are met and that Pro AV Solutions remains profitable by governing operational policies, creating and maintaining budgets, and balancing investment in people, growth, technology, customers, partners, and longer‑term objectives. The GM will operate strategically as part of the executive leadership team and report directly to the Joint CEOs.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and execute the strategic direction of the SA branch.
* Lead and inspire commercial, design, project, and technical teams to deliver successful outcomes on‑budget and to tight schedules.
* Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
* Build and nurture positive, enduring relationships with customers, stakeholders, and partners.
* Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and evidence‑based measurement across all functions.
* Ensure the branch complies with all operational policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated achievement and experience in a GM/Head of Operations role, or similar.
* Proven history in leading and inspiring teams to achieve successful outcomes.
* Track record in generating and delivering results on budget and to tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication, influencing, decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
* Prior experience in a technology‑based industry with recurring revenue streams or enterprise consumption, or in a multi‑site/project‑based environment.
* Commitment to continual improvement and learning.
