Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious High Reach Forklift Operator with experience in picking and packing to join our client's dynamic team. Responsibilities
* Operate a high-reach forklift safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
* Execute accurate picking and packing of products based on order requests.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
* Conduct regular equipment checks and report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor.
* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflows and meet daily targets.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a focus on safety regulations and best practices
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a high-reach forklift operator is essential.
* Certification in forklift operation is required.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
* Commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace for all team members.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a diverse team.
Day-to-Day
* Start the day with a team briefing to discuss daily targets and any operational updates.
* Complete equipment checks and ensure the forklift is in safe working condition.
* Accurately pick and pack products as per customer orders, ensuring each order is fulfilled to company standards.
* Perform any necessary housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
* Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members to facilitate efficient operations
