Remuneration: $58.95-$ superannuation

About the Role

Become a key member of our cohesive Physiotherapy team in the stunning New England Tablelands. As the region's dedicated Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will be the primary contact for paediatric referrals and provide valued support to physiotherapists across surrounding communities such as Inverell, Glen Innes, and Tenterfield.

In this rewarding and varied position, you will:

* Deliver high-quality paediatric physiotherapy across a diverse caseload
* Provide consultation, mentoring, and clinical support to colleagues in outlying sites
* Collaborate with Child & Family Health Nurses, Paediatricians, Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and other key stakeholders
* Work autonomously while contributing to a supportive multidisciplinary team
* Build strong, trust-based relationships with families and community partners to support optimal child development

You'll also access extensive professional development opportunities, including webinars, in-person training, and supported visits to paediatric services at John Hunter Hospital as needed.

About You

You are an experienced paediatric physiotherapist who thrives in a rural environment and values meaningful community connections. With strong cultural awareness and a patient-centred approach, you bring compassion, initiative, and clinical expertise to every interaction.

You will also demonstrate:

* Strong understanding of the needs of Aboriginal and Refugee communities
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in complex clinical situations
* Confidence supervising students and early-career staff
* Advanced skills in complex casting for paediatric conditions
* Broad experience across paediatric musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, and neurological presentations
* Strong ability to build effective networks with families, partners, and community services

Essential Requirements

* Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
