We are seeking a skilled Gas Engine Technician to join our team at Woodlawn. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong mechanical skills to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing gas engines and equipment, as well as completing scheduled daily work tasks as directed by the Maintenance Plan. You will also be required to record and monitor power station operation while conducting preventative or breakdown maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills and Qualifications
">
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A recognised Automotive / Diesel / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic's trade certificate
• Proven mechanical knowledge and a willingness to continuously improve mechanical skills in an operating power station/experience within the automotive repair industry
• Open to recent graduates, Diesel Fitters or Light Vehicle Mechanics looking to upskill in gas engine power station and/or gain experience within the waste industry

What you will be responsible for

1. Service, maintain and repair engines and equipment within the powerstation
2. Complete scheduled daily work tasks as directed by the Maintenance Plan, with guidance from Supervisor/Leading Hand in an efficient and timely manner
3. Complete work orders, monitor stocks and part requisitions daily
4. Record, monitor power station operation while conducting preventative or breakdown maintenance
