Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Technical Services Assistant to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT, which is just a 20-minute drive from Uluru, one of Australia’s most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Technical Services team and play a key role in coordinating maintenance activities across the resort. You will support the Maintenance Planner and wider team by managing work orders, scheduling preventative maintenance and ensuring maintenance operations run efficiently across the property.
To be considered for this role, you must hold a valid Open Australian Driver’s Licence (or the ability to convert to an NT licence) and have access to a reliable vehicle for travel to and from work.
Key Duties
Responsibilities
In this role you will support the coordination and planning of maintenance activities across Ayers Rock Resort. Your responsibilities will include:
Raise, schedule and track preventative, corrective and compliance maintenance work ordersCoordinate daily and weekly maintenance schedules for technicians across the resortSupport preventative maintenance planning and respond to urgent maintenance requestsMaintain accurate asset records, documentation and reporting within the CMMS systemCoordinate contractors, fleet servicing and maintenance activitiesAssist with stores management including purchasing, stock control and tool registersWork closely with technicians, supervisors and other departments to ensure maintenance work is completed efficiently and safely
This role plays a key part in ensuring the resort’s infrastructure and facilities are maintained to a high operational standard
About You
You are organized, detail-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have
Experience in facilities maintenance coordination, asset management or contractor managementStrong administrative and organizational skillsExperience using maintenance systems, CMMS platforms or work order systemsStrong Microsoft Excel skills Ability to prioritize tasks and coordinate multiple stakeholdersExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsUnderstanding of safety and compliance requirements in operational environments
Experience in resort operations, facilities management, construction, logistics or similar environments will be highly regarded.
